📖 What is an Adverb?

An adverb tells how, when, or where something happens. Many adverbs end in -ly (slow→slowly, loud→loudly). Some are irregular: fast (not fastly!), hard → hard, good → well. Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs.
